Somebody at Microsoft Labs saw Steve Jobs unveiling the iPhone and paid special attention to the web browsing that Jobs demonstrated. As a result of that heat, MS Labs has released a preview version of Deepfish, a new browser for the Windows Mobile platform that promises to offer a rich experience on the small screen. Deepfish basically presents an entire web page in a "preview" mode that the user can then tap on and zoom in at will. Since this is a preview version it’s not even a beta yet so you can expect some problems, if you can get in at all. Many are reporting the inability to join the preview program so it must be a very limited run. I’m going to try to get my hands on it and see what it can do. The preview version currently only works with WM 5 and up.
