Electronic Arts Looking For Strategic Partners In India; May Take Equity Stake Too

Global gaming giant Electronic Arts (EA) is reportedly looking at strategic partners in India. EA may take an equity stake at a later stage in the Indian gaming company, The Economic Times quotes EA’s president (Asia) Jon Niermann as saying. The company is in talks with several local game developers since the end of last year.
EA has a similar strategic stake of 12 per cent in South Korean developer Neowiz, which it bought for $105 million last year. Neowiz was a strategic partner of EA before it entered into an equity partnership.
