Yahoo India has a few plans up its sleeves to generate revenues and eyeballs. One is Indian companies can now use Yahoo Answers for advertising their products. The company has already signed up with Gillette for Yahoo Answers advertising (see the sample). Internationally, there are already such instances. For instance, in Brazil, Renault used Yahoo Answers to do a survey among car buyers on what new features they would like. In the US, Toyoto used this platform for a pre-launch consumer feedback. Yahoo is apparently tapping Indian advertisers now.
Yahoo India also plans to launch its products like Flickr and Del.icio.us book marking product on its India Web page.
