Napster Goes Free on AT&T Network For A Year With Contract

Napster, which has a three-year old previous deal with AT&T Wireless to offer its portable-sync service to subscribers, has now done a new deal under which the Napster-To-Go service will be free for a year. The package– a $180 value — allows
users to customize playlists on their PC and transfer songs to compatible mobile phones and music devices. AT&T will market this promo through an ad campaign, and in-store merchandising at all AT&T wireless stores.
There are some qualifiers on who will get the service: Two-year wireless agreement with purchase of the Sync or BlackJack phone by Samsung with qualifying data plan plus a Music Kit/Card.
