German company MobileLabs has launched a Java app that supports a variety of messaging options, reports Alarm Clock. The application is called Blu and connects with the phones operating system so the user can access their internal address book and send e-mails, longer SMS (up to 500 characters) and instant messages through the applications interface. The application has a subscription fee, although I can’t find what it is. MobileLabs just raised seed capital from the High-Tech Gruenderfonds.
