Limelight Networks, one of the CDNs focusing on the digital media sector, is planning an IPO of about $201 million, according to its S-1 filed with the SEC. THe Tempe, AZ-based network raised $130 million in funding in a round last year, led by Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, and joined by others. Recently Akamai sued Limelight for patent infringement.
The company is seeking a Nasdaq listing under the symbol “LLNW.” It also recently expanded its management team, prior to the IPO.
According to the filing, the company had losses of $3.7 million on revenues of $64.3 million for 2006.
