Mobile marketing firm HipCricket has scored another $2 million in its first round of funding. The round closed in January for an undisclosed amount, but HipCricket said that “strong investor demand” saw them receive a further $2 million from angel investors, Broadmark Capital, and a European investment group. The funding will be used to increase customer support, expand its offices in Bellevue, Washington and address new mobile marketing opportunities. (release)
