Content Roundup: Sports, Aardman Animations, Maserati

Kamera, which provides TV channels for online and mobile distribution, has signed a deal with sports rights marketing company SPORTFIVE to deliver its programming to carriers. The deal includes the upcoming Qualifications for the EURO2008 football championship, and SportFive has TV and marketing rights to more than 30 football associations and over 270 football clubs, and the exclusive marketing of the European TV rights for UEFA EURO 2008T.
–Aardman Animations has signed up Player X to deliver its mobile video content in North America (Player X already distributes the video in Scandinavia and O2 UK). The content will include Wallace & Gromit, Angry Kid and Creature Comfort, and will launch on two major US carriers. Player X is keeping mum about exactly which two carriers that will be.
–Maserati has signed up 10Duke to launch a mobile campaign for the new Quattroporte Automatic. Maserati prospects can receive exclusive video footage of the Quattroporte direct to their mobile, which they can show or send to their friends or work colleagues. (Carpages)
