Is there an unlimited cellular plan in your future? Sprint thinks there is and they’re testing that theory in the San Fransisco area. For $120, they offer unlimited voice, text messaging and data services. Before you get all giddy with glee, the "data services" don’t include unlimited mobile broadband (EV-DO); that will tack on another $30 a month.
Still, $150 for unlimited "everything"? The compelling nature is to use this plan as a complete land-line replacement. For example, I was paying about $130 a month when I had a similar bundle from Verizon Wireless; add in my mid-range land-line package plus my DSL for another $90 a month and I was at $220 a month. If I could get EV-DO Rev. A speeds or better at my home, I’d actually consider the $150 buffet. Sure it’s an issue with a home WLAN, but that’s what EV-DO routers are for. ;)
