CrickeM.com, the social networking and video sharing website for cricket fans has, changed its name to CricTV.com. The latter obviously sounds good, and is also simpler. The Silicon Valley-based site has tied up with Reliance World and appointed the latter as its broadband partner. Since the Cricket World Cup is round the corner, this is likely to create buzz in the Reliance World outlets. CricTV is a part of the Silicon Valley startup PayPod Inc.
Talking of Cricket World Cup, there are quite a few initiatives from the online fraternity. Google has created a microsite for cricket fans here. There is also a community of cricket fans being built in Orkut with the help of Krish Srikkanth.
