San Francisco-based Flurry has raised $3.75 million in its first round of funding. The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and included Draper Richards and angel investors Borealis Ventures. The funding will be used to accelerate growth and adoption of the companies mobile e-mail and RSS service, enhance the product and expand the management team. Flurry’s free service allows consumers to access email and RSS news feeds using standard mobile phones. The application works with more than 500 different phone models worldwide and is supported by more than 700 different carriers and 7,000 email providers. (Press Release)
