Yahoo has announced that it has ported the gamma version of Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0 to Windows Mobile, making it available on 75 extra handsets (bringing the total to 175). Yahoo Go was put on Windows Mobile devices last August, this announcement refers to the new capabilities like oneSearch, Flickr connectivity, RSS for current headlines and a breaking news ticker and so on.
Yahoo has also signed a deal with Taiwanese handset manufacturer High Tech Computer (HTC) to preload and distribute Yahoo’s mobile services on HTC handsets…this includes Yahoo Go for Mobile 2.0, oneSearch and Yahoo Mail. The software isn’t on there yet, it appears April will see it start.
