Updated: Mojungle, the media sharing site that had put itself up for sale on eBay, only to withdraw the listing because of zero-bids has been sold to Peak Performance Solutions of Columbus, Ohio.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ophir Tanz, CEO of the LA-based Mojungle says that “Peak plans to continue to operate and enhance the Mojungle service in addition to integrating the technology into their insurance and risk management software.”

According to Tanz, the company still has “an additional 4 licenses of the software available for purchase,” and has “several open bids on the table and we have entered no sell periods on two of the four remaining copies.” Mojungle had announced that it would sell five licenses after its bid to sell itself on eBay failed.

Tanz just emailed to let us know that “Mojungle did not actually fail to sell on eBay. We pulled the listing 2+ days early in the interest of allowing interested parties to exercise proper due diligence in making a decision.”

  1. It’s a great time to Mojungle, and I thought this the best time for an introduction. I’m the new COO of Mojungle and also on board is Seth as CTO. I’m very excited to be involved in such a great community. We have some cutting-edge development lined up which will add to the already great Mojungle services. Keep your eye on us for the next few months. We look forward to sharing our lives.
