Yedda, an Israeli company that is currently developing a semantic search engine, has raised $2.5 million in a financing round led by Genesis Partners, Globes Online reported. Private investors also participated in the round. The semantic search engine Yedda’s developing is said to be capable of analyzing questions and requests and inviting web users to share subjective knowledge based on experience and opinion. Users are also asked to answer questions on Yedda or other websites. Yedda was founded in 1995.
