Agencyfaqs reports that Tony Joseph has resigned as the Editor of Business World magazine. Joseph will, however, continue to be a part of the committee in parent ABP group which oversees strategy and operations. Joseph will be replaced by Jehangir Pocha, who was till recently based out of Beijing reporting for Businessworld and also for the US based The Boston Globe.
Prosenjit Datta, who was the executive editor at Businessworld, will move out of the magazine to handle other assignments within the ABP group. Joseph is also the CEO of Mindworks Global Media Services, a media outsourcing company where ABP is an investor.
Meanwhile, NDTV has announced new appointments. Vikram Chandra will become the CEO and managing director of NDTV Networks Plc, a 100 per cent subsidiary incorporated in the UK. Chandra, who will report to NDTV Group CEO KVL Narayan Rao, will be responsible for the group
