Anurag Gupta, EVP & Director At Connecturf Puts In His Papers

Anurag Gupta, EVP and Director at Connecturf has confirmed to ContentSutra that he has put in his papers. However he is not willing to comment on where he going next, saying only that “Its going to be little more of an entrepreneurial stint, somewhere with higher growth curves.” Before joining Connecturf, Gupta was Head of subscription business at Indiatimes.
About whether this a case of mass exodus from Connecturf, like had happened last year when top management officials from Mediaturf had quit to form Interactive Avenues, Gupta says that this is not a redux since both he and Jaidev Iyer are going separate ways: we had earlier reported that Jaidev Iyer, Head of Media Planning and Buying at Connecturf group company Mediaturf, is joining Web18. A reader had left an anonymous comment about Gupta and LD Sharma leaving Mediaturf to that post.
Update: LD Sharma, former AVP, Search & International Business at Mediaturf has confirmed to us that he had left the company two months ago, but isn’t able to comment yet on his future plans. Sharma had joined Mediaturf from Esil (UK).
