Just to keep up to date on the “Qualcomm vs Nokia” battle, CNet notes that the US investigation into Qualcomm’s claims that Nokia is infringing its patents — due to begin in March — has been delayed indefinitely. This is really a win for Nokia, I think…and the Finnish company seems to agree, saying “since Qualcomm filed its complaint, it has voluntarily withdrawn three of the six patents from the suit. The remaining three are all from the same patent family. Nokia believes the patent withdrawal reflects on the weakness of Qualcomm’s case”.
