Kineto Wireless Inc., a supplier of unlicensed mobile technology enabling mobile voice and data services over broadband networks, has raised another $10 million in funding. InterDigital, a company that designs, develops and provides advanced wireless technologies, led the round with $5 million. The remaining $5 million comes from Kineto’s existing investors, Sutter Hill Ventures, Venrock Associates, 3i, Oak Investment Partners, SeaPoint Ventures and Storm Ventures. They contributed to the initial $24 million round in 2003. Kineto will use the funding to meet operator demand for fixed-mobile convergence products, the company said in a statement. Press release
