Mozes, Inc., a company that lets users (including brands, bands and fans) create and manage text message-based mobile campaigns and promotions, has received $5 million in its first round of funding from Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and North Bridge Venture Partners. Mozes focuses on the music industry, enabling record labels and bands to develop more interactive and dynamic fan experiences; the Mozes music service is currently in beta.
