An mBlox sponsored survey of 340 consumers across the UK, France and Germany revealed that 72 percent of respondents are unaware they can purchase mobile content from places other than the carrier portal, reports Cellular News. I’m not sure I’d want to extrapolate that to all of Europe, though. Other figures from the survey include: 74 percent said they were unaware of extra data charges when downloading; 50 percent said they would expect the data charges to be no more than one pound each time, with only one person realising the charge could be as high as 20 pounds; 22 percent have tried downloading full track music or mobile TV and 36 percent said high prices stopped them downloading full track music or mobile TV — 85 percent said about one pound per song was a fair price.
