Telefonica Trials Mobile TV, Radio

Telefonica is in the process of trialling some mobile interactive multimedia services in Spain, according to Light Reading. Telefonica is using services from Alcatel-Lucent including interactive TV, radio and music. The TV service will include an electronic program guide and contextual interactive services — such as consumers being able to order content associated with a TV program (it sounds like a unicast solution). The users can also select different FM radio channels and browse a program guide for them, and the services include voting, alerts and interactive advertising services.
