Sony Ericsson Slims Down Walkman Phone; Sells 20 Million Till Date

Sony Ericsson has introduced a raft of new products, including a Walkman phone that is its slimmest ever and two Cybershot-branded camera phones, in an attempt to break away from the slew of 3GSM announcements next week.
The high-end Walkman phone, the W880, which will ship this quarter, will be about as slim as a CD case, the company said. The 3G phone includes a music player and a 2-megapixel camera. Sony Ericsson, the fourth-biggest phone maker, also introduced the W610, a Walkman-branded phone with a 512- megabyte card and a 2-megapixel camera.
