Nazara Technologies, which has rights for mobile content related to cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and MS Dhoni, has launched Sachin Zone, reports The Hindu. Apparently, Tendulkar has been paid some amount upfront, and also gets a revenue share on the content downloaded. For the Sachin Zone, Nazara has tied up with Hutch, Idea, BSNL and MTNL. Apart from games, wallpapers and themes, the Sachin Zone also features audio content at Rs.6 per minute. More on the cost to consumer here.
As per their site, they also have (or are creating) a Dhoni zone, and two of the games – Dhoni Tappebaaz and Sachin Tapothon seem remarkably similar.
