Chinese internet company Sohu.com (Nasdaq: SOHU) reported that 4Q revenue rose 16 percent to $34.4 million in the fourth quarter, thanks to an increase in brand advertising. In particular, brand advertising revenues for the quarter amounted to $22 million, up 30 percent compared to the same period the year before. Overall ad revenues came in at $24.9 million, an increase of 23 percent year-over-year. Other highlights:
— Total revenues for FY06 were $134.2 million, a 28 percent increase over FY05 revenues of $104.5 million.
— Advertising revenues for FY06 totaled $91.8 million, a gain of 29 percent.
