Swedish telco TeliaSonera has announced plans to buy Danish MVNO Debitel Danmark, according to Cellular News. “TeliaSonera has agreed to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares in debitel Danmark in Denmark (debitel) from debitel (owning 78.2%), Fleggaard Holding (8.8%) and Dansk Landbrugs Grovvareselskab (DLG) (13%).” The total price is 1,270 million Kroner (US$182.5 million), of which TeliaSonera will pay 860 million up front and the rest will depend on Debitel’s performance, up to 410 million kronor. Debitel will continue operations normally.
