Financing your web working business

In talking with a number of individuals that primarily work online and run their own businesses, there is always interest in how to raise a little cash to get to the next level. Rob Finn, an associate with the Edison Venture Fund, has put up a wiki and has come up with a list of “75 Blog Posts to Read Before Talking to a VC.

Finn has cobbeled together links to posts that help you with everything – from choosing a business broker, figuring out startup strategies, to selecting a VC firm. It is one stop shop where you can go and learn about financial options for a small, but growing web business.

If anyone is seriously thinking about raising a little more to help expand their business, I suggest you add these posts to your list of reading materials. Not only will they help get you thinking about the whole process to see what is involved, but they will provide valuable insight from industry experts and people that have successfully raised capital.
