Quarterly net profit dropped 3 percent for British Sky Broadcasting (NYSE: BSY) as expenses devoted to promoting its broadband services ate into its earnings, the company said.
Net income for the three months ending Dec. 31 fell to $255 million, from $262 million a year ago. Revenue rose 10 percent to $4.3 billion for FY 2Q. The company, which is 38 percent owned by Rupert Murdoch
