Frost and Sullivan have issued a report on the DVB-H market, saying that revenues in this market totaled $60 million in 2006 and are likely to reach $2.04 billion in 2010. It also says that DVB-H is likely to be the main mobile broadcast TV standard, based on the idea that the industry prefers its open standard nature. It also notes that while speeds of 25 frames per second are possible trials show that practical speeds are only 15-16 frames per second — although they’re likely to increase. (release)
