Q3 Earnings: CyberMedia Sales Grew 30.8%, Net Up 44.5%

Leading Indian specialty media house CyberMedia has registered a total income of Rs 28.7 crore in the third quarter ended December 2006, up 30.8 per cent from Rs 21.95 crore reported during the same period last year. The net profits increased by 44.5 per cent to Rs 2.55 crore in Q3 2006 as against Rs 1.77 crore in the same period last year.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, CyberMedia has recorded 26.5 per cent year-on-year increase in total income to Rs 74.21 crore, up from Rs 58.67 crore during the corresponding period last year. For nine-month period, net profits were up 21.5 per cent to Rs 5.82 crore from Rs 4.79 crore last year.

9-month highlights
-Revenues from publishing business went up by 27.1 per cent to Rs 51.46 crore for nine months ended December 2006.
-Revenue from the internet business increased 36.5 per cent to Rs 5.21 crore.
-Community event based revenues rose 44.4 per cent to Rs 0.91 crore from Rs 0.63 crore
-Revenues from events business went up by 22.3 per cent to Rs 2.7 crore.
