The transition from physical movie rentals to digital rentals of on-demand movies have been expected for a long time. While digital downloading of movies and broadband video in general have garnered a great deal of attention, cable VOD is likely to be the most common way consumers view movies at home in the near future, an analyst report from BernsteinResearch says.
