Strong online ad growth helped Lee Enterprises (NYSE: LEE) to slightly better than expected profits for the quarter ending December 31, 2006. Earnings for the quarter ended Dec. 31 totaled $26.7 million, or 58 cents per share, compared with net income of $22.8 million, or 50 cents per share during the same period last year
