Telecoms.com offers some important stats and insights on MMS traffic trends among the 63 mobile operators it tracks worldwide (sub. req.) On average, total MMS traffic increased 80.5 percent, while the growth in the number of messages set by users was 54.4 percent. But these figures distract from the sorry fact that the number of people who sent an MMS almost every day has remained relatively static. China Mobile and Kenya’s Safaricom, for example, showed growth exceeding 800 percent and 500 percent, respectively.
