Nellymoser, the Boston-based mobile content applications firm backed by Softbank, has replaced its CEO and founder John Puterbaugh, and has appointed a new CEO, Susanne Bowen. Bowen was previously the Chairman and CEO of Webhire, Inc., and is also partner at Social Venture Partners in Boston.
Nellymoser has been working with the likes of Fox Interactive Media/IGN, Sony Connect, Macromedia, Warner Music Group and other in the mobile apps space. From the looks of it, this is an investor-led change which probably also meant some more money being pumped in. The company received a $5.3 million round in 2005, led by Softbank.
Puterbaugh will continue as a director.
