Eros International and Intel will soon kickstart their on-demand, broadband-delivered bollywood content service. The companies have announced plans for the pre-DVD online premiere of I See You, a bollywood film which was released in theatres on December 29. The service is based on Intel’s Viiv technology which helps connect the PC and TV, and enables consumers to access and manage content any time they want.
Eros International is London’s AIM-listed bollywood studio and distribution house. Eros plans to offer rental, subscription, download to own and also download to burn models in the future.
India’s IPTV content companies like Aksh OptiFibre is also planning Friday release of bollywood flicks on broadband soon.
