Gartner Warns Telcos Against Becoming Media Companies

Martin Gutberlet, research vice president at Gartner, said there is nothing bad about becoming utility and operators should focus on this because it is where their strength and experience lies. Which is ironic because the big thing carriers are meant to bring to the table is an in-depth knowledge of their subscribers.
