Pathfire, a Roswell, GA-based digital video distribution technology company, has received $2 million in funding from CNN and others. Other investors include Alliance Technology Ventures, Kinetic Ventures and Noro-Moseley Partners. AT&T also added a small amount to its previous commitments. The most recent round brings Pathfire’s lifetime funding to more than $100 million in funding, the story says.
The Pathfire solution is an automated digital IP-multicast distribution system that allows content providers to distribute media to broadcasters who automatically receive it in their stations.
