Yahoo disses page views

“The bottom line is that the page view has outgrown its usefulness. The industry needs to embrace change and develop new metrics that measure this new world more accurately,” writes Peter Daboll, Yahoo’s “Chief of Insights,” and former CEO of comScore, on the Yahoo blog. Corporate blogging is great, but this comes more than a full week after this MySpace was measured to have passed Yahoo. If you’re going to be late, you better add something! How about, for instance, opening up your toolbar as an alternate source of data?
