Barcoded mobile ticketing has already been extended to other verticals, this time by Spice Telecom: they used the same for two music events (for Spice Club Spirit members), and the movie DON, in Amritsar and Jallandhar in Punjab. The technology was provided by ActivMedia. Activmedia claims that the cost of ticketing by up to 80 per cent compared to the cost of paper based ticketing.
