We mentioned yesterday about the newly formed MTVN Mobile Media Group within MTV Networks. Turns out it is not so much a reorg, but a new group where some of the execs in the mobile/wireless group have been promoted, and given some added co-ordination responsibilities with the international arm as well. The respective MTV brands/channels will still be responsible for creating and developing mobile products related to them.
The new group will be responsible for “managing mobile partnerships and content distribution for the company, and will support the teams at the individual MTVN brands,” says the release. The unit will be led by Greg Clayman, who has been promoted to SVP of MTVN Mobile Media. This new group reports into MTVN Global Digital Media, led by Mika Salmi, President and concurrently to MTVN Affiliate Sales and Marketing, led by Nicole Browning, President.
Also, promotions for two other mobile executives: Alice Kim, now VP of Carrier Relations and Wireless Distribution; and Jeremiah Zinn, now VP, Mobile Operations and Product Development. Zinn and Kim will continue reporting to Clayman.
