Hutchison Essar in India has signed a deal with DoCoMo to launch an i-mode service. The service is expected to launch in 2007, and the biggest issue appears to be price, both of the service and the handsets. Still, Reuters reports: “We will make money on volume. It is not our intention to make it a high-priced service or an elite product,” said Asim Ghosh, managing director at Hutchison Essar.
