C-DAC, Enable M Develop Mobile Literacy Tool Using AI

Centre For Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and Enable M, a Mumbai-based mobile technology company, announced that thay have developed a technology that can help people learn Indian Languages on mobile phones through artificial intelligence. The product has been named LILA which stands for “Learn Indian Language through Artificial Intelligence”.
The LILA software series for learning Hindi is already available online, and it has a multimedia (audio and video interface). The mobile tool is new. “LILA Hindi Prabodh is being made available on a mobile Handset through Multi-Media Cards. The card has been embedded with the latest courseware of Hindi Prabodh,” said Amit Zaveri, CEO, Enable M, the company which has partnered with C-DAC for the development of software for making it available on mobile phones.
Salora Group had made an undisclosed investment in Enable M.
We have earlier written about Tinfo Mobile, a Thiruvananthapuram-based mobile content company which has developed a mobile-literacy app called TeachMe Akshara. They also won Reliance Application Contest for this app.
