Zapak’s Launch Budget At $2 mil; Online Cricket Tournament In Jan-Feb; Surfgold To Do Loyalty Mkt

Arun Mehra, CMO of Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd tells exchange4media that they will launch an online gaming cricket tournament, probably in time or just before for the Cricket World Cup. Zapak has a budget of $2 mil for the launch phase which ends around Jan 15 2007. They’ve forged alliances with 7-10 brands for co-promotions.
Exchange4media reports that Zapak has also given Surfgold the mandate for creating a community at, with loyalty marketing initiatives to retain online gamers. Surfgold will be offering merchandise as rewards to users.
