South Korea’s Daum Communications will switch to Google for cost-per-click advertising when its contract with Yahoo’s Overture expires at the end of the year, according to AFP. Google sees it as a step towards expansion in South Korea. Google VP Sukhinder Singh Cassidy told Yonhap News Agency: “We have under-invested in Korea historically and now we are seeking to expand it.” As part of that, Google is investing in mobile products and services with SK Telecom.
