Business Standard adds that convenience(54 per cent), price (34 per cent)and better selection (11 per cent) are key motivators behind online purchase of airline tickets.
One major component of ‘convenience’ is that users can take a printout of their ticket/invoice online which reduces the post-payment uncertainty for a customer; when there are no hassles in boarding using these tickets, it serves as an affirmation. The same applies to other e-commerce transactions – distribution and timely delivery is key for repeat purchase.
