Reorg At HandsOn; COO McCurdy Leaves

MocoNews.net has learned that HandsOn (formerly Mforma), the mobile gaming and content apps company based out of San Francisco, has gone through a reorg, and COO Keith McCurdy has left, only after about two months in that position (he was with the company for a while…previous to COO, he was the President of Studios and Products). That’s all we know till now…more Monday when we hear back officially from the PR (who haven’t responded to queries since yesterday morning).
I mentioned in an interview to The Deal earlier this week that the company, which had been planning for an IPO, might be a good acquisition target now, and could include the likes of InteractiveCorp, Yahoo or others.
Updated: HandsOn has appointed Lynne Crawford as the new COO, Jonathan Sacks told me in an e-mail. Crawford has been the former COO and EVP of AOL’s International Division, CFO of AOL operations, and controller and VP of The Walt Disney Company. McCurdy will remain an advisor to the company.
