Common Sense Media Gets $4.25 Million Funding

SF-based Common Sense Media has received a commitment for $4.25 million from the Omidyar Network, over the next three years. CSM is non-profit organization provides news and advice for families. It operates a website, Commonsense.com, which provides media and entertainment reviews and parenting advice.
The investment will support general operating expenses for CSM…its business model is generating revenues through distribution deals. More in the release here.
