The CDMA Development group is pushing for a revision of the cellular standard EV-DO to be called Ultra Mobile Broadband or UMB. We’re glad that we won’t have to say “CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Revision C (Rev. C)” anymore, though, purists might complain about the new marketing attempt.
