Russian mobile content revenues are expected to increase by 30% this year to US$390 million, according to J’son&Partners consultancy. The growth is attributed to the increasing demand for multimedia content, mobile Internet and some other services, with the top ten content providers (out of 200) nabbing 75% of the total revenue. J’son&Partners predicts the market will grow by 13% next year.
This figure contrasts with the $450 million prediction given at the 3rd Russian VAS Conference.
