Some nuggets I picked up: Kreeda Entertainment, an online games development company, is getting VC funding soon. (ED: Industry sources told us a month back that Kreeda has closed a small seed funding from some unnamed angel investors. The company is founded by people like Quentin Staes-Polet. Besides, former Paradoz Studios CEO Anurag Khurana is also believed to have joined them.)
Indians-founded Ugenie, a new comparison-shopping site using Web 2.0 tools and features, received $5 million from venture capital firms Blue Run Ventures and Sierra Ventures. The company was founded in May this year by two ex-Amazon engineers
