The Numbers on Mobile Content

Couple of new pieces of research covered on our sister site MocoNews:
— Juniper Research has released some predictions about the global entertainment market, claiming that the whole shebang– comprising gambling, adult content, mobile games, mobile music and mobile TV — is currently worth $17 billion but will grow to $47 billion by 2009 and $77 billion by 2011. Over the next five years Europe is forecast to contribute 35% of the total and Asia Pacific 37%.
— A survey by Ipsos is upbeat on the outlook for mobile music services. Based on data, it reports 4% of U.S users aged 12 and older downloaded tracks over the last month. That
